![]() ![]() I do like Adobe CC for Photoshop and Acrobat and having Premiere Pro is nice in the event I have to edit a video but I am asking if it would be wise to give that up and switch to CSP and use alternative applications for the non-art related endeavors of my business. Just to explain what I do, I'm a hobbyist artist since March of 2020 and although I am very familiar with PS's interface in the past for graphic design, I run a small business in which I make graphics for my business and soon will incorporate original artwork from this awesome hobby I took up. I previously owned Manga Studio EX 3 and EX 4 and decided it was time for a much needed upgrade of my software after having used EX 4 for at least 5 years now.I am a professional freelance cartoonist, illustrator, and character designer, so having tools that help me expedite my process is a necessity.Installation was quick and easy. If I was to make the switch, will I run into an issue where a possible employer will ask me for a PSD or if I was to work with a team in say, making a comic, will there be a form of ecosystem confliction if not everyone can access the same workflow file? I just got Manga Studio EX 5 in the mail a couple of days ago. I know PS is a "industry standard" application so PSDs are often shared around. ![]() changing the color of a reference photo to suit a different palette, cropping a logo out and making a banner? Is CSP good at basic photo manipulation and graphic design I. ![]() I am currently using photoshop CC 2021 on a student license and I am really on the fence about making the switch due to financial reasons (even at $30 with the student license a month it adds up to my expenses) and I heard on Black Friday CSP goes on sale for half of it's $220 USD price tag. Hello, I heard alot of good things about Clip Studio Paint especially for making art and comics and it's a one time purchase. ![]()
